What are the conditions at the Railway Museum for persons with a disability?

There are no elevation differences at the entrance, and most of the Museum’s indoor areas are easy to navigate in a wheelchair, for instance.

A lift is available at the Museum’s entrance that leads up to the balcony level for the café, exhibitions and play areas.
Carriage and locomotive interiors can only be accessed and viewed from platforms with stairs, however.

A toilet for the disabled is found at Track 6.

As many of the objects on display are very large and may be touched, persons with impaired vision will also enjoy visiting the Museum.

Walking frames, wheelchairs and cane seats can be booked at the ticket office.
